Reality TV fans are shocked as Bachelorette contestant Tyler Gwozdz is found dead at 29 from a heroin overdose in Boca Raton! He showed much promise on the show after getting the first one-on-one date, but abruptly left the show despite earning a rose. We’re now learning that the former contestant had an issue with drug abuse, and is suspected to be what caused his death.

According to the Boca Roton police department, officers and paramedics rushed to a home on January 13 in response to a 911 call for a possible drug overdose. When they arrived, they found an unconscious Tyler who they transported to a hospital – admitting him to the ICU. Tyler remained at the hospital for a week where he was listed as being in critical condition, but stable.

But things were about to take a turn for the worst.  On Tuesday, Tyler’s name could no longer be found in the hospital’s system. The Palm Beach County  Medical Examiner’s Office later confirmed that Gwozdz was dead but, they did not provide any specific details. They went on to say that an autopsy report will be available in 8 to 12 weeks, but many already think they know what happened.

Here’s why.  According to the 911 call, a woman told the dispatcher it might have been heroin. She was frantically trying to get into the bathroom where he locked himself. After breaking through the door, she turned him on his back before the ambulance arrived.

The Hollywood Gossip

Now Bachelor/ Bachelorette nation is mourning.  Tyler Gwozdz appeared on Hannah Brown’s season of the popular show. His profile said that he was a sales manager who aspired to be a psychologist. He went on to describe himself as an entrepreneur who launched a dream therapy analysis business.

Several attempts were made to contact his family, but there has been no word from them. We’d like to express our sympathy for their loss.
